Women arrive to the Artisan Studio and work together to make Kichwa-style jewelry that can be sold, ensuring that women will receive a fair wage. Over time their talents have grown to include embroidery and other handmade items such as dolls and clothing. With each purchase, another life is transformed, another family’s trajectory positively altered.
Other Ecuadorian products are added to our store at times, showcasing the culture of the country and the expression of its people. All sales allow for more opportunity for women to heal and secure a stable livelihood.
