Entrepreneurship in Action

This past week, the prevention and intervention programs worked in conjunction fostering the family economic revival of these programs through entrepreneurship. The families involved in the intervention and prevention programs gathered for an undertaking of school support and giving boots to children. This may seem different in the view of an outsider, but in the areas where the majority of these families live, boots are a necesity for life.

There was also entrepreneurial training with 20 families. The idea is togive 20 egg-laying hens to 20 families to use as either a cash crop or for the families themselves to use. Per family, the investment is approximately $50 which includes food for the hens! Is this exciting or what?! Imagine the impact simply on nutrition by consuming eggs every day for children and families who may be malnourished. Imagine the encouragement and empowerment that could be felt by these families.

So, when you wonder what your support DOES or COULD go to, know that you can and do directly support sustainability of families serverly affected by Covid-19. To the point that these families were receiving food supplies multiple times just to eat and to live.

This support is making a difference. YOUR support makes a difference.
